The Taming of the Shrew

Baptista, a rich Paduan merchant, admits that his fair young daughter, Bianca, will stay unwed before her older sister, Katharina, a hellish shrew, has wed.. Lucentio, a student and the son of a Pisan merchant, has fallen in love with Bianca. He poses as a coach of poetry and music to be close Bianca and to get entry. Meanwhile, Petruchio arrives in Padua, hoping to catch a wife. Still yet another suitor of Bianca, hortensio, directs Petruchio's awareness of Katharina. After Hortensio warns him Petruchio is contested and resolves to capture her love. Another suitor of Bianca, Gremio and hortensio, agree to pay for Petruchio's costs since Katharina is pursued by him.
