The Lighthorsemen

1917, Palestine. The Turkish line running from Gaza to Beersheba has halted the British advance. The most recent attack on Gaza was a failure. The attacking forces included an Australian mounted infantry regiment, the Light Horse... Lighthorseman Frank sustains injuries during a battle with Bedouin. He is replaced by Dave, a young soldier who is a great shot but is hesitant to fire at the enemy. Dave puts his skills to the test during a German biplane attack. While recuperating in the hospital, he meets Anne, a sympathetic nurse... The regiment is summoned for a daring flanking attack on Beersheba. But how do you persuade the Turks that the main attack will be on Gaza? And how do you attack across a desert if you don't have any water?
