Airborne

Mitchell Goosen is a sixteen or seventeen-year-old California teenager who enjoys surfing and rollerblading. Nonetheless, his parents, both of whom are zoologists, were awarded a grant to conduct research in Australia. The only problem was that Mitchell was unable to accompany them. As a result, he is transported to Cincinnati, Ohio, to live with his aunt, uncle, and cousin. When he arrives, he meets his cousin, who also happens to be his six-month roommate: Wiley. Mitchell subsequently returns to school and becomes embroiled in an altercation with the high school hockey team. Mitchell and Wiley are subjected to weeks of torture at the hands of the guys. Then, the big boys, Mitchell, and Wiley must learn to work together in order to defeat Central High School competitors during a competition down Devil's Backbone.
