A Letter to Momo
Clinging into an letter written by her recently deceased dad, young mo mo moves into the remote island of Shio with her mum from Tokyo. Upon their arrival, she begins to explore her new habitat, learning their routines and customs and meeting with kids. However, it's not long before the previously tranquil island is cropped around by several occurrences that are bizarre. Every day after her mother leaves for work, prized trinkets start evaporating and, worst of all, orchards are found ransacked, mo mo hears strange mumblings coming from the attic of the house. Annoyed by these creepy goings on along with also her mommy's refusal to think them, mo mo embarks on a strange and unnatural experience to discover the foundation of the mischief, that leads her to a trio of annoying imps: the flatulent lizard Kawa, the childlike Mame and also their hulking ogre leader Iwa. Momo also learns that her trip to the island is in a manner connected to her dad's mysterious letter.
