The Oblongs

The Oblongs is an American animated television series aimed at adults and adolescents. It's loosely based on a set of characters introduced in creator Angus Oblong's movie book. The TV series was created by Jobsite Productions and Mohawk Productions in association with Warner Bros.. The theme song for that series, and television was composed and performed by They Might Be Giants. The Oblongs aired on The WB from April 1, 2001 before May 20, 2001 after which aired on Adult Swim from August 25, 2002 on October 20, 2002, with an overall total of thirteen events. There has been mention of a series resurrection with fresh episodes on Adult Swim, but no information was announced. All thirteen episodes of The Oblongs were published on October 4, 2005 on DVD.
