Inuyashiki: Last Hero
Inuyashiki Ichirou is down on his luck. While just 58 years of age, his geriatric looks have him written off as a pathetic old man on the planet around him and his family constantly ignored and disrespected him that he's done to support them. In addition to everything else, his physician has shown it appears that he has little time left in this world and that he has cancer. But only when it seems things couldn't get any worse, a light in the nighttime skies strikes on the ground at which Ichirou stands. He later wakes up to get himself unscathed, however he soon starts to observe there is something... different about himself. However, it turns out why these strange, new changes are precisely what Ichirou should have a new lease on life now it feels like there's nothing to stop him out of being a hero worthy of the respect that he never had earlier... unless, that is, there was someone else out there with the very same changes...
