Extra is the American entertainment television news program covering celebrities and events that surfaced on September 5, 1994 at syndication. It had been initially created at Victory Studios in Glendale, California by Telepictures Productions in association with Warner Bros.. Television Distribution. From 1995-2003 it had been distributed by Time-Telepictures tele-vision a merger between Telepictures and also Time Magazine. Extra had a spin off show called Celebrity Justice, which ran only three seasons from 2002--2005. Extra is among two Warner Bros.. Television must become syndicated to NBCUniversal television channels, one other being The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
