Amistad

Back in 1839, the slave ship Amistad place sail to America from Cuba. Throughout the trip, Cinque directs the slaves in an uprising that is unprecedented. They are then held captive in Connecticut, and their release becomes the topic of argument. Freed slave Theodore Joadson wants Cinque and Realtors house lawyer Roger Baldwin to help his instance and others exonerated. Finally, John Quincy Adams becomes an ally.
